We’re very proud to share some wonderful news from the 2026 Launceston and Northern Tasmania Business Awards
Every day our vets, nurses, receptionists, kennel hands, managers and support team put an enormous amount of care into looking after our patients and the people who love them.
There are the big moments, of course, but there are also many smaller ones that happen behind the scenes every day. A nervous pet who needs a little extra patience, a worried owner who needs reassurance, a difficult case that requires the whole team to pull together. That care and commitment is at the heart of our clinic, and we’re incredibly proud to see it recognised.
Congratulations Sally-Anne:
For Sally-Anne, being named Business Person of the Year was a particularly special moment.
Her vision has always been about more than running a veterinary clinic. It’s been about providing excellent veterinary care with genuine compassion, being part of the local community and creating a workplace where people are supported to learn, develop and enjoy what they do.
As Sally-Anne would be the first to say however, no one builds a great business alone.
This award belongs just as much to the many people, past and present, who have helped shape Mowbray Veterinary Clinic over the years.
A Big Thank You
Mowbray Veterinary Clinic has been caring for the animals of Launceston since 1992. More than three decades later, we remain proudly locally owned, and our community continues to be at the heart of what we do.
So, most importantly, we want to say thank you.
Thank you to every person who has trusted us with a much loved pet. Thank you to those who have recommended us to family and friends, supported our team over the years or simply stopped to say hello.
It is a privilege to care for your animals and to be part of their lives, through the happy visits, the difficult ones and everything in between.
And to our entire Mowbray team, thank you for everything you do.
